Responsibilities of Cargo Operations Officer -
- Cargo shipment handling
- Conduct cargo operations in accordance with applicable regulations and standards
- Ensure cargo is properly manifested as per sales planning
- Ensure cargo is dispatched from warehouse properly with all relevant documents
- Ensure proper documentation and reports are generated
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded/ un-loaded from aircraft's
- Ensure proper messages are forwarded to various destinations of location of cargo and documents etc
- Ensure all relevant daily maintenance function of equipment's is carried out
- Ensure that cargo agents issue correct airway bills
- Supervise functions performed by the ground handling staff on the ramp
- Ensure that all safety/ security and SOP's with regard to cargo operations are taken care of
- Be aware of and comply with his/ her safety responsibilities and accountabilities as laid down in the Indigo SMS manual, chapter safety policy and objectives.

Responsibilities for Executives -
- Optimize revenue on assigned flights
- Meet monthly revenue and passenger revenue per available seat kilometers target
- Inventory positioning on assigned flights based on demand and seasonal patterns
- Monitors and adjust fares based on market inputs and demand, ensure Indigo offers competitive fare
- Manage demand forecast by analyzing historical and future trends on assigned flights to ensure revenue maximization
- Ensure that overbooking is economically viable
- Comprehensive reporting of competitor activity.

Salary/Pay and Grade Pay - For officer/ executive post, the payable salary will be Rs 28,300 and for cargo operations officer post, the payable salary will be Rs 40,000 per month approximately. Further information about salary details is mentioned in the notification.
