Salary/Pay and Grade Pay - For cameraman post, the payable salary will be Rs 44,900 - 1,42,400, for posts (2-10), the payable salary will be Rs 35,400 - 1,12,400 , for posts (11-15), the payable salary will be Rs 25,500 - 81,100 , for posts (16-21), the payable salary will be Rs 19,900 - 63,200 and for multitasking staff, studio assistant posts, the payable salary will be Rs 18,000 - 56,900 per month. - Cameraman - {a diploma or graduate degree in cinematography with minimum two years of experience in motion picture photography}
- Stenographer - {12th pass with shorthand speed of 80 words per minute}
- Upper Division Clerk - {a graduate degree in any discipline}
- Multitasking Staff (MTS) - {10th pass}
- Hindi Typist-cum-Clerk - {10th pass with typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi}
- Carpenter - {10th pass with minimum two years of experience as carpenter}
- Driver - {10th pass with minimum three years of experience in three years of experience in driving heavy vehicles}
- Graphic and Visual Assistant - {a graduate degree/ diploma in fine arts with minimum two years of experience in graphics/ animation}
- Film Editor - {a diploma in editing with minimum three years of experience as film editor}
- Make-up Artist - {10th pass with minimum five years of experience as a make-up man}
Selection Method - For recruitment in the Film and Television Institute of India, the candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in the computer-based exam, skill test and then personal interview. Candidates must be prepared for these tests.
