Salary/Pay and Grade Pay -  For multitasking staff post, the payable salary will be Rs 18,000 - 56,900, for lower division clerk post, the payable salary will be Rs 19,900 - 63,200, for technician post, the payable salary will be Rs 21,700 - 69,100 and for technical assistant post, the payable salary will be Rs 29,200 - 92,300 per month.   • Multitasking Staff (MTS) - {10th pass}
  • Lower Division Clerk - {12th pass and have a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer}
  • Technician - {12th pass in science stream with minimum 60% of marks}
  • Technical Assistant - {a graduate degree in science with botany or agriculture stream}.

Selection Method - For recruitment in the Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding, the candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in online computer based exam and skill test. Candidates must be prepared for the these tests.
 
Syllabus/ Exam Criteria - The computer based exam will consist of following subjects
  • General English/ English Language (25 Questions, 50 Marks)
  • General Intelligence and Reasoning (25 Questions, 50 Marks)
  • Numerical Aptitude/ Quantitative Aptitude (25 Questions, 50 Marks)
  • General Awareness (25 Questions, 50 Marks).
The computer based exam duration will be of 60 - 90 minutes. The total number of questions will be 100 and total marks will be 200. There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
