Salary/Pay and Grade Pay - For engineer post, the payable salary will be Rs 99,969, for scientific assistant post, the payable salary will be Rs 61,818, for laboratory assistant post, the payable salary will be Rs 39,761, for work assistant post, the payable salary will be Rs 31,329 and for project scientific officer post, the payable salary will be Rs 78,500 per month. - Engineer (Civil) - {B.E/B.Tech in civil engineering with minimum 60% of marks and minimum three years of relevant experience}
- Scientific Assistant - {a graduate/ postgraduate degree in library science/ information science with minimum 60% of marks and minimum 1-2 years of experience in scientific/ technical library}
- Laboratory Assistant/ Work Assistant - {National Trade Certificate in refrigeration and air conditioning/ electrical trade with minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience}
- Project Scientific Officer - {B.E/ B.Tech in computer science/ information technology with minimum 60% of marks and minimum three years of experience in relevant field}.
Selection Method - For recruitment in the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, the candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in the online written exam, skill test and then personal interview. Candidates must be prepared for these tests.
