Eligibility for SBI Asha Scholarship 2025 - 

  • It is open for Indian nationals only
  • Applicant must be studying in class 6 to 12 or an undergraduate or postgraduate
  • Students must have secured minimum 75% marks or above in their previous academic year
  • For school students, the gross annual family income of the applicants must be upto 3 lakh and for undergraduate or postgraduate students, the gross annual family income of the applicants must be upto 6 lakh.

The SBI Asha Scholarship cash awards are mentioned below for pursuing candidates.
1. For School Students - Rs 15,000
2. Graduate Students - Rs 75,000
3. Postgraduate Students - Rs 2,50,000
4. Medical Students - Rs 4,50,000 
5. Graduate Students from IIT's - 2,00,000
6. MBA Students from IIM's - 5,00,000
7. Postgraduate Overseas Students - 20,00,000.

  • Mark sheet from the previous academic year (Class 6-12/ Graduation/ Post-graduation as applicable)
  • Adhaar card
  • Current year fee receipt
  • Proof of current year admission
  • Bank account details of the applicant or parent
  • Proof of Income (Form 16A/ income certificate/ salary slips etc.) 
  • Photograph of the applicant
  • Caste Certificate (wherever applicable).
 
Age Limit - The SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025-26 will select 23,230 students for the current cycle.
 
Number of Students to be Selected - There is no age limit mentioned by the SBI Foundation. 
 

Selection Method - The selection process of SBI Asha Scholarship Program is based on the documents submitted by the aspirants. If they meet all guidelines, the aspirant will be selected for scholarship.

Last Date for Submitting Application Form - All candidates must apply on or before (15-11-2025). After the last date, no application form will be submitted 

Important Note - Application forms received after due date will not be entertained under any circumstances. Incomplete or late applications without enclosures will summarily be rejected without any reasons and correspondence. Therefore application forms must reach before the last date. Belated/Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.

No, to be eligible for the scholarship for UG and PG courses, you must be enrolled in an institution that is listed among the top 300 NIRF-ranked universities or colleges.
