Salary/Pay and Grade Pay - For technical assistant post, the payable salary will be Rs 9,300 - 34,800 with Rs 4,200 grade pay and for junior assistant post, the payable salary will be Rs 5,200 - 20,200 with Rs 2,000 grade pay per month. - Technical Assistant - {B.E/B.Tech in civil/ electrical/ electronics and communication/ computer science engineering/ B.Arch/ B.Sc in physics/chemistry/ MCA with minimum 60% of marks}
- Junior Assistant - {12th pass and have a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English and proficiency in computer word processing and spreadsheet}.
Selection Method - For recruitment in the NIT, the candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in computer-based exam, screening test, trade/skill test. Candidates must be prepared for these tests.
