Salary/Pay and Grade Pay - For multitasking staff (MTS) post, the payable salary will be Rs 18,000 - 56,900 per month. Further information about salary details is mentioned in the detailed advertisement.

Selection Method - For recruitment in the Intelligence Bureau, the candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in TIER 1 computer based written exam, descriptive test and then merit list followed by personal interview and medical test. Candidates must be prepared for these tests.
Syllabus and Exam Pattern - The question paper for TIER 1 computer based examination on the following subjects will be conducted in English and Hindi only.
- General Awareness (40 Questions, 40 Marks)
- Quantitative Aptitude (20 Questions, 20 Marks)
- Numerical/ Logical Ability and Reasoning (20 Questions, 20 Marks)
- English Language (20 Questions, 20 Marks)
