Salary/Pay and Grade Pay - For scientist post, the payable salary will be Rs 56,100 - 1,77,500, for junior scientific assistant, senior technician posts, the payable salary will be Rs 35,400 - 1,12,400, for data entry operator and junior technician posts, the payable salary will be Rs 25,500 - 81,100, for junior laboratory assistant and lower division clerk posts, the payable salary will be Rs 19,900 - 63,200 and for attendant post, the payable salary will be Rs 18,000 - 56,900 per month. - Scientist - {B.E/B.Tech in civil/ chemical/ environmental/ mechanical or mining engineering, Master's degree in environmental engineering/ natural/ agricultural sciences}
- Junior Scientific Assistant - {B.Sc with 4 years of experience}
- Senior Technician - {diploma in instrumentation/ electronic/ mechanical}
- Data Entry Operator - {12th pass}
- Junior Technician - {10th with ITI in mechanical trade}
- Junior Laboratory Assistant - {12th with science stream}
- Lower Division Clerk - {a Graduate degree in any discipline}

Selection Method - For recruitment in the Central Pollution Control Board, the candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in online exam, skill test and then personal interview. Candidates must be prepared for these tests.
