Salary/Pay and Grade Pay - For scientific officer post, the payable salary will be Rs 67,700 - 78,800, for technical officer post, the payable salary will be Rs 56,100 - 78,800, for technician post, the payable salary will be Rs 21,700, for stenographer and upper division clerk posts, the payable salary will be Rs 25,000, for driver post, the payable salary will be Rs 19,900, for security guard, work assistant and canteen attendant posts, the payable salary will be Rs 18,800, for stipendiary trainee (cat-1) post, the payable salary will be Rs 16,000 and for stipendiary trainee (cat-2) post, the payable salary will be Rs 10,500 per month. - Scientific Officer - {Ph.D in metallurgical/ materials engineering and B.Tech in metallurgy/ M.Sc in physics/ chemistry/ material science with minimum 60% marks and four years of post-doctoral research experience}
- Technical Officer - {B.E/B.Tech in chemical/ civil/ computer science/ electrical/ electronics/ instrumentation/ mechanical/ mechatronics/ metallurgy/ physics/ chemistry/ atmospheric science/ meteorology engineering with minimum 60% marks}
- Technician - {12th pass in science with minimum 60% marks and certification in crane operation}
- Stenographer - {12th pass with minimum 50% marks}
- Upper Division Clerk - {a graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks}
- Driver - {10th pass with three years of driving experience}
- Security Guard/ Work Assistant/ Canteen Attendant - {10th pass}
