Salary/Pay and Grade Pay - For senior project associate post, the payable salary will be Rs 42,000, for project associate post, the payable salary will be Rs 35,000, for technician and project assistant posts, the payable salary will be Rs 20,000 and for laboratory assistant, scientific assistant and administrative assistant posts, the payable salary will be Rs 18,000 per month. - Senior Project Associate - {a doctoral degree/ Ph.D/ M.Sc in botany/ biotechnology/ biochemistry/ life sciences/ zoology/ biological science/ plant sciences/ environment sciences with four years of research experience}
- Project Associate - {M.Sc in botany/ biotechnology/ biochemistry/ life sciences/ zoology with GATE}
- Technician - {B.Sc in entomology/ B.Sc as zoology}
- Laboratory Assistant/ Project Assistant - {B.Sc in agriculture/ science}
- Scientific Assistant/ Administrative Assistant - {a graduate degree in any discipline}.
Selection Method - For recruitment in the National Botanical Research Institute, the candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in personal discussion and then personal interview. Candidates must be prepared for the interview.
Work Experience - No further work experience required for most of the posts. Fresher candidates and candidates with no experience can also apply for this recruitment.
