Number of Vacancies -
There are a various number of vacancies for officers posts.Name of Vacancies and Number of Posts - The name and number of vacancies per posts are mentioned below.
1. Staff Nurse - 01
2. Telephone Operator - 16
3. Swimming Instructor - 01
4. Fire Engine Driver - 03
5. Fireman (erstwhile) - 03
6. Cook - 14
7. MTS - 125.
Salary/Pay and Grade Pay - For staff nurse posts, the payable salary will be Rs 44,900 - 1,42,400, for telephone operator and fire engine driver posts, the payable salary will be Rs 21,700 - 69,100, for swimming instructor post, the payable salary will be Rs 25,500 - 81,100, for fireman and cook posts, the payable salary will be Rs 19,900 - 63,200 and for MTS posts, the payable salary will be Rs 18,000 - 56,900 per month. Educational Qualifications - Candidates have done 10th (matriculation), 12th or its equivalent/relevant/higher qualification from a recognized board or university. Selection Method - For recruitment in the Indian Navy, the candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test, physical fitness test, endurance test, medical test and then personal interview. Candidates must be prepared for these tests.
Work Experience - No further work experience required for some of the posts. Fresher candidates and candidates with no experience can also apply for this recruitment.

Candidates have to take a printout of application form. After printout, candidates must fill the application form and send the application form along with needed / relevant / required testimonials(which is mentioned in detailed advertisement) superscribing the envelope "Application for the post of 'Name of Post' " to the given desired address.

Last Date for Submitting Application Form - All candidates must apply on or before (02-01-2018). After the last date, no application form will be submitted.
Application Fee - There will be no application fee for any category candidates. Regular employees of Indian Navy applying for the higher position are too not required to pay any application fee.
Important Note - Application forms received after due date will not be entertained under any circumstances. Incomplete or late applications without enclosures will summarily be rejected without any reasons and correspondence. Therefore application forms must reach before the last date. Belated/Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.
