- Accurately handle refund calculation requests ensuring adherence to airline and fare policies
- Perform comprehensive fare rule checks using Amadeus, Galileo, GDS systems to validate refund eligibility
- Calculate net refund amounts for unused and partially utilized tickets by applying fare basis rules
- Provide refund estimates to travel consultants for review and proceed with refund actions upon confirmation
- Organize and process refunds, categorizing eligible amounts under unclaimed refund revenue
- Utilize multiple GDS platforms to retrieve booking details, verify fare rules and process refunds
- Work closely with travel consultants regarding refund rules, calculations and ticket availability
- Ensure compliance with operational guidelines and service level agreements.
